I wouldn't let the news release about CISCO and CIENA teaming up convince me that FIBR and CISCO won't team up. Just recently CISCO announced an internet telephony agreement with OZEMY. They had just made an announcement of exactly the same arrangement with another provider of internet telephony (a few days earlier).

Anyway, if you read the article it sounds like with the exponential growth of data, voice, video and graphics transmissions and bandwidth requirements, there'll be room for many players in this market for several years. I saw it as very positive for FIBR, especially since they already have an in production DWDM product.

CISCO may well announce a similar agreement with FIBR.
