A few points shorters should chew on here. 1. Without you guys so eager to short, the stock wouldn't have risen as fast as it has. Every shorter looks at the price and sees $$$ signs. Then He/she contributes to the rise by shorting some more. 2. The rise may look absurd, but it is not. If K-tel had mentioned its internet plans a year ago, there would have been a more gradual rise to it's current price. The stock is just making up for lost time. 3. K-Tel will carry all the titles CDNW carries as well as a lot CDNW has no rights to. There are quite a few. K-Tel can also undersell CDNW if it so pleases (Kind of the heat AMZN is feeling thanks to Barnes and Noble). Most people today do not know where to access K-Tel titles. K-Tel will be in an identical business, but with exclusive titles as well. (So what should K-Tel's Mkt. Cap be??) 4. Oldies and retro are back. Notice all the new "oldies" radio stations?? Notice the "beetle"?? All K-Tel has to do is be moderately good at the execution part. And I asure you they have looked at N2K and CDNW's web sites. They are not fools. Rashid PS. Anybody who shorted Mid-day Friday LOST ALL THEIR MONEY TODAY AND WILL COVER IN THE NEXT THREE DAYS.
