US West today announced they are deploying VDSL in the Phoenix area this year 400,000 lines initially then up to 700,000 lines. As I remember VDSL is the type of xDSL system BBTK has in the FLX-2500. The press release also noted this number of lines as being the number that were served with close to the home fiber. No mention though of who's equipment US west was to use. George
