Craig:

There are two basic methods to optimize, or to improve the outcome:
change the system or change the stocks.

I use the default settings but try to find stocks to fit the standard profiles. I cannot say the results are better but I think this method
is less time consuming.

If I keep the default standard profiles, bigger stocks often act more
orderly than smaller stocks, in other words the probability of repeating past patterns are higher.

We all know that TA is not always right. We are looking for a small
edge which is based on the assumption that the future events are likely to repeat the past patterns.

The stocks I used in OT (and other TA software) are bigger cap stocks
with good earnings. If TA works, great. If TA does not work I still have stocks with good earnings.
