To All Concerned;
I recently employed Cyber-Corp as my first choice for a day-trading system, and am happy to report the following:
Set-up was smooth, down and dirty.
My hand was held through the entire procedure, equipment recommendations, installation of software, personal tutoring, you name it, they did it.
Staff was well informed, extremely courteous, and hey they even had pleasing personalities.
In other words, service, service, service. And they even treated you with respect and you got the feeling that they were pleased to have you aboard.
Now for the particulars:
I am using CyberT (Cybertrader lite) and it has everything that other program has, only minus a few decision support windows such as extra Market Maker Windows ( only 1 in CyberT). And of course the attached charts to those MM windows. Other than that it does have Island, Soees, and Selectnet. Now it also has a beta version of NYSE and AMEX for those inclined (I am).
I'm using a Windows 95 based Pentium 200 mhz, with 64k ram, an Appian Geronimo Pro dual monitor card with 8 megs of ram, and a 21" NEC monitor + a 17" Nokia. This monitor set up is more than enough room for CyberT, in fact two 17" monitors or one 21" would probably suffice, to start. But I feel once you move up to Cybertrader, you may need the extra space that my present combination offers. Also, I have run this on both a 56K modem (Flex56), but pretty much have it dedicated to a cable modem setup with unbelievable reliability and speed, even better then ISDN performance.
I would highly suggest that you use NT Workstation 4.0 though. It is much more stable and is better suited for the upgrade to Cybertrader. I plan to load it up this weekend, but due to the fact that I am an impulsive and anxious person, I fired it up on Win95 to get the ballgame started immediately.
Executions are superb. Normal Island execution if your a good trader is instantaneous, miliseconds. Smart Market orders on a fast running stock leaves a little to be desired, but this is the result of the markets, not anything to do with Cybertraders performance.
Commissions with all exchange fees average about $23.
Every morning I receive the previous days trades, of which I log into my accounting program (Quicken) at the end of the trading day. It is accurate and easy to read, it flows well.
Service is top notch, and I am one demanding SOB. I have no trouble getting through on the phone if I have any problems, and if by chance the individual I seek is on another call, I get a return call within minutes. Now that's rare in todays world, by any standards.
I wish to thank the staff of Cybertrader for a job well done, a class act all the way.
Basking in trading Nirvana,
