Thanks, DJ. From the same article... ...Luczo's goal is for sales of the software division to be $1 billion within the next few years. In the meantime, he reckons, a public offering of a minority stake would make the division more visible on Wall Street.... The question is: if you accept the premise that SEG Software is going to be a winning investment, do you start buying it now by accumulating SEG with all its disk drive baggage or do you wait for the spinoff to establish a position?
