News items IBM earnings etc IMHO:Out of ATHM @37.75 - still holding CMGI & YHOO & options-Plan to sell to fund SGP,BMYetc.Expect stk splits to PFE sooner than we think. Hughes Johnson of First Albany:(I like him) likes IBM e in general ignoring the loss of rev. in PCs, currency, and stk buybacks. Investors like this and reward the stk in the after hour trd. to 111.3/8 calls Internet stks as "concept" stks - defy all indicators like pes etc- if u look at them it is nose bleed. ---------------------------- Super Tuesday: a busy day ahead lot of e announcements today SGP, MO, BMY among drugs, CCI, Chase Man amon banks.
