I thought that crash was hilarious. It happened while demonstrating the hardware auto-detection feature. I have found this to be one of the most irritating features of Win95. Installing new hardware is a nightmare. I often install something, get it working in Linux in 5 minutes, and then spend an hour battling Win95 to get things working. Sigh.

The uptime on my Sparc Ultra 5 was 22 days when I rebooted it the other day! That's after running large compiles and simulations the whole time, BTW. Try that on Win NT. The NT servers at work that run Citrix's WinFrame software have to be rebooted every couple of days because of resource leaks in the OS.
