You often see direction changes between 9:30 and 10:15;

the reason, I am told, is that Merrill (primarily) is finishing up it's international trades during the first 45 minutes.

So one technique is to try to determine about what time it should turn, if it does turn. I use a pattern technique a trader in Florida taught me which I would have an impossible time trying to describe over the internet.

I have to break it off here. I had a tooth extracted about 25 minutes ago and for whatever reason I am starting to get a little whoozey.

Maybe it's the blood splashing on the keyboard.
