Philip, >> Production and marketing problem? Looks more like a sales problem. <<

Sales problem? Isn't it a kind of marketing problem?
When LS-120 first available, the production hasn't ramp up yet. There are lots of interest (including me) but no supply. You could read the 3M LS-120 advertisment in every PC Mag or Byte every month but you couldn't find them in local retail store. Basically Compaq was the only source to buy a LS-120 at that time. (Iomega Zip also has similar problem at the beginning of Zip age but at that time there was no alternative.) Now LS120 can be bought easily and very cheap too but I am no longer desperately want it. If HiFD can't fulfill its promise(s) then I will go back and think about LS-120 or Zip.
