<<WAY OFF-TOPIC, DANGER!>> Ohhhh, Hate Me If You Must, But...

Okay, what I'm about to do is VERY TACKY... sort of
like going to a funeral and pushing Amway distributorships.

But, as y'all may remember, I'm in the e-commerce business.
And, officially tomorrow, one of our clients goes out
to the world. But, I wanted to invite you all to have
a look at the thing we've obsessed on for about
eight weeks.

It's at idot.com. PLEASE DON'T BUY ANYTHING...
though they've got their act together on that front. (Nice
products, etc.) And
as you folks will only ever know me as "c m" this can hardly
be seen as a way to drum up business for our shop.

But, I want you all to see this thing: web storefront,
etc. Criticize it. Play with it. The configuration
engine was designed by the crew that did Dell's. Yes,
we're kind of proud of this thing... especially the
eight-week turn... from positioning the company to
designing and placing banners to building the site... from soup to nuts.

But, again, that's not my thinking here. I'd love to
just get some objective feedback. (And, if it sounds
like I did all of this work, let's put that notion to
rest. I just helped with positioning and some banners
you may see and some small ads (PC WEEK, etc.) and a smidgen
of the configuration process.)

And if this hacks some folks off, my apologies. I never
carry business cards. And this ain't a virtual business
card. But, if you've got a moment and want to "review"
some functionality, etc at this e-commerce site that would
be more than kind. Private message me with complaints...
or just a slam of my bad form.

God, I hope no one takes this as spamming. PLEASE
DON'T BUY ANYTHING. And visit the site, only if you've
got a couple of minutes to root around.

And, at the risk of stating what I think should be
the obvious (to those who sort of know me), this will
be the last of this kind of post you'll ever get out
of me.

Best Regards To All E-Commercians,

c m
