why is a simple concept hard to follow ? maybe these things are better understood by lawyers <g> if you have a subsidiary, that means you own 100% of their stock.. the sub is an asset on the books of the parent company (ftel)... so, you "spin" it off...therein lies the glitch, i suppose...the ownership cant have changed, unless some form of compensation is received in return...and to think all this time i thought we would be getting 3 for 1 !! of yeah, that was before last thanksgiving <vbg> jp
