Michelle, you're right of course. Wasn't it on this thread that someone was comparing NSCP w/ ITWO, saying ITWO could be easily knocked off, too!!! It was always obvious that a half dozen comp sci graduate students could build a browser to rival Navigator, over a long weekend, given enough soda and pizza! But, what these ERP companies are doing takes years to develop and refine, and a tremendous amount of expertise and discipline.
I've been a software developer for 20+ years. But, I'm a dinosaur and will be put out to pasture soon. There is no way every company can afford to continue to develop their own systems anymore. There aren't enough "GOOD" developers, it's too expensive, time consuming, etc. I'm not sure who the ultimate app winners will be (there'll be more than one), and I actually have some VNTV, too. But, most of my new money is going into this segment.
