Thanks for documenting the downtime so precisely.

Truth is, I haven't figured out what happened yet. Our whole network went bazerk, so my best guess is that our internal network switch failed. Our ISP isn't letting me blame it on their router (although I think it's likely related).

I was sleeping at the time and my "SI monitoring" beeper was set to "vibrate"...it was dutifully buzzing around on the carpet while I blissfully slept. It's sort of like the AM/PM problem everyone has at least once a year with their alarm clocks.
