I'm not mel, but here is what I think:

"When do you think the court will hear the case"

Soon we hope, but no hard news as to when. Unfortunately the judge can sit on it as long as she wants. She already has taken longer than most would take.

"when do you think GIFT will be awarded this patent"

GIFT already has the patent. Any money damages will be awarded after a trial. A trial can't take place until after the judge decides what the claims mean (or decides not to decide right away, but lets the case move forward anyway). Infringement and validity discovery has not taken place, so figure trial is a year (or more) after the judge acts.

"if GIFT had any chance of winning this award, then what's the stock doing at a buck."

Obviously the market thinks its a long shot. Could be not enough people know about it, or its just too hard to predict a court case. It rises quickly on news, be ready. Also, the market might be waiting for the judges claim decision.
