I'm assuming with this kind of volume confirmation for the past 3 trading days (today included), that there is a positive earnings picture in the waiting. Passing on a rumor, I saw elsewhere on the Yahoo! APLX thread that earnings were going to beat estimates.

We had a breakout at 6.5.

In at 6 7/16 after seeing that upward price momentum be accompanied by the volume.

We'll see what the management has for us.
