You are a devious little one, Delbert. John Galt never said the Universe was random (implying all things are not predictable). This is false. If he sees a rock falling from 100 feet, he will also see the probability that it will hit the earth as very high. John Galt uses no special programs. He has no magical special formula nor does he follow any shmexpert advice (e.g., Michael Burke, Joseph G., etc...) These types are pinheads living in a fantasy world. They try to predict 'outcomes' within an unreasonable timeframe. John Galt, being in an elevated state of consciousness, simply makes good trades at just the right time. You can say he is a momentum player but he is also a very knowledgeable one.
