You know, they also made a couple of different statements about the Hughes/Sun contract. It was very confusing, but I was confused already so it didn't matter. Anyway glad things are all cleared up. I wonder how the news crews do it. Are they talking from a script or do they talk spontaneously based on what they've just been given in terms of news. Anyway CNBC has awesome reporting so I'm not complaining cause I really do get good value out of it and I like how they have the different analyst come on and do their commentary. The only thing I don't like is when they show totally irrelevant news to the market (or at least I can't see any relevance but maybe everyone else can) and that jeapardy board. I don't like looking at it, it takes away from what's being said. Also every so often it seems some of the reporters have to do a certain act and give off a certain appearance counter to what the story is really trying to tell, but whatever that's just my opinion. I still like it and the new format and consider it top notch. For me, the best is when the commentary or reporting is just smooth and unbiased, or when they ask some of the hard questions or very hard questions. Also the technical analysis and when the other analyst come in and the key guests like CEO's and reps. I also like it when they do live shots on the floor and live shots in the firms where all the action is taking place.

I wish Sal and Stephen were in this string too cause we had a blast the other time talking about CNBC. One thing I wish they'd do more of also is to profile new products. They keep showing the same reels of chip making or what have you. They should send some reporter out to the fields where stuff is being tested or new products are about to come online and show the public. Not to hype the public, but just to preview to the public how amazing a lot of the new technologies really are or how amazing it is for these companies to have figured out how to manufacture these items, or even show drawings or short pieces on how the technology works. I think people will be glued to their sets. It could be anything, how genetic research is done, how phase trials are carried out and what the standards are, anything in any field.
