t's ironic isn't it. DELL reaps the rewards of Compaq and IBM using AMD and NSM
and "perhaps" getting better deals from Intel. Compaq and IBM do the dirty work and
DELL lays back and cashes in.
Honestly though, DELL would probably do just as well or better if the sold some AMD
based boxes. It's Dells production model that is so good. I'm not sure "Intel Inside" is
the "major" driving force behind DELLs success.

What dirty work ? If it AIN'T broke, don't fix it. Why would you take any risk at all ? Going away from Intel when everything is going well, no way would they do as well. All other chip makers are copying , there is only would creator of chips, they lead, all others follow.

Its funny that just last week someone from the other thread was screaming how Intel is only one speed ahead now, and BAM here come 350, 400, talk of 500 Mhz chips, wow, blowing them away.
