Can anyone explain why the Shares used in the calculation of loss per share only went from 48,275 to 50,863? Shouldn't there have been an increase on the order of 12.1M shares?
Also, does anyone understand how In the quarter ended March 31, 1997, prior to the acquisition of Visigenic, Borland reported standalone revenues of $37.2 million, compared with $46.5 million for the quarter ended March 31, 1998, which includes the results of Visigenic -- a 25 percent increase while the Total revenues only went from 43,420 to 46,486. That sure doen't seem like 25% increase. |
