David, I spoke with Todd Savitt, FVHI's IR rep, around April 10, right around the time the stock dipped to 5/8, which is pretty close to where I bought in in a small way. He said absolutely nothing about the company's going under. I suggest you contact IR through the First Virtual Website: fv.com. He was happy to speak to me at length over the phone. He said nothing of imminent failure, but perhaps I asked the wrong questions. I've heard of the rumor mentioned on the Yahoo board, but I haven't been able to substantiate it.

My impression is that the company has changed its business plan and is looking for customers. It's also looking for capital, or so I understood, and I asked if FVHI had present cash flow and assets to stay afloat during the transition. My impression was that he thought it did.

Please don't take this as hype. I'm as nervous about the company as anyone, and I'm wondering what today's activity is about. I'm cautiously optimistic. If you can find further info, I'd very much like to hear it.
