A little disappointing, but better to have a soft landing than a hard one...The results are coming down to earth now...
I annualized the data from the WSJ BB with revenues and earnings growth sequentially (not EPS) for the past 4-6 Qs...
Revenues: 136%, 220%, 95%, 102%, 156%, 79% presently...
NI: 216%, 99%, 115%, to the present 58%....
Also keep in mind that the Shareholders growth is less, from Dilution
With the new EPS for the past 4 Q being .40, we have a new PE of 53 @ $21...
I'd say that the PE will probably not get to 70 during the Q, since growth sequentaially is less than any Q's growth over the past year...Most likely, the PE will drop some since growth has slowed...for companies such as P-Com, Sanmima, Ascend, the PE is about half or so of the growth rate...But then with Peoplesoft and Cascade it is greater than the growth rate...
I'm Definitely not saying it will come to $11 AT ALL...it's just that the upside potential (>$23) in the near term is much more limited with these numbers....
Anyone care to comment? I'm open... |
