Why did ATA spin off Lucent? Answer: So Vic would"t take over ATT (GGG) With regards to the poll 1) Yes--compared to what is to come 2) No As far as the board goes I do not believe many minds will be changed, at least in time to avert disaster ( Disaster defined as jumping in at a low price before this baby launches ) If those of us who believe this is a secure investment are correct the crowing will be unending. If we are wrong I will come on the board and take all the abuse of the doubters. Gambling over the web is illegal but I am willing to make this offer to the doubters... If FTEL is not at or above $10 a share by Jan 15, 1999 I will make a donation of $10,000 to the Children's Miracle Network in honor of the first nay sayer to take me up on this offer. If the stock is at or above $10 a share by closing Jan 15, 1999 that person taking up the offer will buy$10,000 worth of FTEL and donate it to the Children's Miracle Network in honor of Vic, Elk, Raleigh, Jacksman, and Snake.All I need is a verbal commitment on this board--your word is good enough for the kids--if not you have more problems than are financial.
