Craig, Interesting viewpoint to support your opinion that a high-performance connection to ethernet is a high priority: Message 4148839 I like this guy's attitude. For those who missed my earlier posts on FDDI vs FC - DEC used to have a page on their web site that once said 80% of corporate backbones were FDDI. With FC leverage in the SAN, I think you could make a strong argument for providing a package deal with FC replacing existing FDDI. Some of the phone companies have large FFDI LANs attached to non-FC storage. I agree with him on the larger issue of the marketability of FDDI. George D.
