Are you serious on AMEN (Didax)? From their "profile" in Yahoo:

DIDAX Inc. [Amen] conducts research and development and marketing for The Christian Community Network and provides website development, internet access and consulting services to Christian organizations. For the nine months ended 9/30/97, revenues increased to $264 thousand, up from $113 thousand. Net loss decreased 4% to $1.9 million. Revenues reflect an increase in paid consulting services. Lower loss reflects reduced salaries and head count.

Yet today AMEN stock increased from $4 to $5 3/4, giving the company a capitalization of over $20,000,000! And the company must have somewhere less that 10 underpaid employees, all of whom likely took a pay cut last year. Of course each may now own a million dollars worth of stock. There must be a dozen or more companies that do better than that in revenues just here in Eugene OR that are not publicly traded.

Somehow this insanity must end. I fear that it will result in a general market collapse.

"Amen" to that.
