Analysts ratings on PFE issued on April 20 & April 15 from Bloomberg (These analysts are absolutely clueless. Look at the price targets, and not one strong buy):

- was maintained ''accumulate'' by analyst Mariola B. Haggar at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. The 12-month target price is $130.00 per share.

- was maintained near-term ''buy'' by analyst Steven C. Tighe at Merrill Lynch & Co. Prescription orders for the first week were 36,150.

- was reiterated ''buy'' by analyst Tim O'Reilly at Aros Securities Inc. The price target is $115 per share.

- was maintained ''attractive'' by analyst Joseph Riccardo at Bear, Stearns & Co. The 12-month target price is $125.00 per share. Riccardo raised is 1998 est. to $2.10 from $2.05 and raisd his 1999 est. to $2.55 from $2.50 per share. He raised his price target to $125 from $95 per share.

- was raised to ''attractive'' from ''neutral'' by analyst Jeff Chaffkin at PaineWebber Inc. Chafkin raised his 1998 est. to $2.10 from $2.05 and raised 1999 est. to $2.60 f rom $2.50 per share.

- was reiterated ''buy'' by analyst Klemenz Huser at Zuercher Kantonalbank. Huser expects an EPS of $2.1 for 1998, and raised his EPS estimates to $2.5 from $2.45 for 1999, from $1.76 in 1997.
