This wasn't the feeling I got from my discussion. I thought he was telling me that he expects the .25 micron process will be their avenue to profits because that one will have good yields. He expects .25 to get to 70%, while implying .35 yields are still crappy.

Now today I read that Barrett said that Intel will be ramping up .18 micron just a short 12 months from now. Consequently, I still can't see how they can make any money with this strategy. And of coarse, saying something is fixed is not the same as proving it.

I still recall that this is the guy who said not too long ago that they've lost their window of opportunity.
