Is it because everything is funded in U.S. dollars.

Earnings may come up short this quarter.... If most fund managers were to take this view then why would the market take so long to recognize it.

Could it be that the U.S. market is feed by success and so there appears to be no end?

Checks and balances. Can something that is reliant on growing become so big that it does not need to justify it's origin?
