Alex, U.S. Patent # 5,560,816 "Apparatus for Electrolyzing Fluids" was granted to MLSC on October 29, 1996. The patent further extends the proprietary rights of an earlier patent granted to MLSC in April 1996, covering the method for using the company's electrolyzer apparatus.

"MDI's electrolyzer is the key instrument used in the manufacture of MDI-P, the company's proprietary antimicrobial agent. With the newly issued patent, all future producers of MDI-P must utilize the MDI elctrolyzer, providing Medical Discoveries with expanded protection against commercial infringement by unauthorized individuals or organizations."

"As we get closer to commercialization of MDI-P, our efforts to protect the company's market interests become increasingly important.
By affirming our rights as the sole producer of MDI-P, we are better positioned to capitalize fully on it's many potential applications," said Marlin Toombs. "In addition to the protection it offers, we are pleased with this patent because it provides further evidence of the unique nature of MDI's technology."

Medical Discoveries is at this time a very "undiscovered" company with ~mega~ upside potential. Anyone else following this company?
