fred, our disagreement is one of valuation. i think it is too high. dell is the ONLY company not to have squirmed from increasing pc competition. before there is none, there must be just one ;-)

dell has been flawless. ted waitte has done an awsome job. but ted's past isn't relevant. it is the future. ibm, cpq, gtw, muei and everyone else, sans dell, have been punished of late. some have rebounded. some haven't. this wasn't the good ole pc market of last year. but valuations are higher. is this a good, healthy thing? ibm at an all time high after shaving 13% in eps? ;-)

maybe dell will be unscathed. just like mu was when everyone was scared of all that success they had a few years ago ;-)

but what do i know. i still own a bunch of swtx ;-)
