A leveraged buyout mounted by an insider?

If an outsider attempted a leveraged buyout it would certainly be for the purpose of dumping the existing management. I doubt it would happen before some revenue turnaround. But I like the idea. There is nothing to lose here for us stockholders.

If Norda and Ashton, the insiders, attempted a leveraged buyout, it would be a frightening experience for stockholders because this is the scenario where they let the stock drop as far as it can before they make their move. And the stock would drop even farther once they announced their intentions.

I don't think they could get away with it and I don't think anyone would give them the money given their track records of managing companies. Although if the stock dropped far enough perhaps they could manage to find the capital locally.

I don't want to be a Novell shareholder when we get to that point. Its a point just short of bankruptcy.

Joe Antol has a more realistic approach. Let's find a class action attorney and try to get some value for our shares.
