The sector's strength, particularly without much on the oil price front may mean our companies are getting more serious consideration as long-term value plays. If so, we may be able to move up independent of an oil price increase. I'd say the jury is still out on that one, since most of us have had our hearts and wallets broken many times by fade away rallies. We'll have to see whether the recent brokerage support is followed by more buying or by selloffs. The fundamentals of positive earnings reports should continue, so unless oil prices or the overall market drop significantly I'm cautiously optimistic that we may continue strong from here.

As many start to feel anxious about their Internet stocks and look for more down to earth places to invest, the sector may attract more funds.
