A NEW INVESTMENT DIRECTION

I finally ventured into uncharted waters for me and bought some June 40 and June 45 Calls for IMRS.I bought because IMRS price was at 36+ which is near a recent low. I filled @ 2 3/16 for June 40 and 1 3/8 for June 45.I am so green about buying options I don't know whether I bought well or not. I have less than 4000$ invested so it can't be too expensive a lesson.I would appreciate someone giving me some idea of what daily information to keep records on so as to track trends properly.
