Dennis, re Vixel - They have opined on several occassions that they are looking to get taken over instead of going IPO. Sounds like a bunch of engineers w/out a lot of financing looking for a quick buck, don't it? As for the market, it certainly looks promising late '98 going into '99, and Vixel is peddling "one stop shopping" since picking up Arcxel, so I'm sure they'll sell something with CPQ, SUNW, and NEC in their camp. Also contracted with HWP for video server product. Still, I think your MSFT stock options in the long run look better than anything Vixel could have offered you. :-)
