Morgan Stanley is a trading powerhouse. He must be from the Dean Witter side. When I have friends who complain about annoying brokers I tell them to say your brother/sister/father whatever is in the business. Tell 'em s/he is with Merrill and ....I usually say "tell 'em he's based in Salt Lake". In your case, use Atlanta or some place distant. I have to cut them off quick. I tell 'em the truth. I'm a licensed trader and I have a position on. "You would only be wasting your time and mine". The bucket shops use the old "Remember when we spoke 3 months ago and ........" Those guys I make short work out of. No need to be polite to a liar. Sometimes I step back and realize it's just a kid starting out, but if I'm wrapped up in something I can get pretty rude. Even by Jersey standards.
