DEAL -- WHAT DEAL? -- NO TAKERS RECENTLY UNDER $2

I've heard indirectly from industry people and investment professionals ( investment bankers) that SEVL has been FOR SALE as recently as a few weeks ago. There were NO TAKERS at that price (under $2).
What makes any of you believe that if MSFT looked at the company @ $2/share and passed they would have any interest at these prices. Could someone please explain this to me?? Thanks

P.S. Private investors were only willing to pay $1.25/share for a quick "pop" (are likely shorting against their position to you in the high single digits/low double digits!!)
