All...

Here's a brief recap of a trade that was originated by OT.

On 4/15 OT gave an outright buy signal on Egghead (EGGS). I waited for a confirmation by other methods I use in Windows on Wall Street. That very nearly happened the next day, but stopped short. That day was an "inside" day, and generally not a good sign.

Since the confirmation was so close, I decided to watch real time trading the next morning. When EGGS started to move out, I bot in at 10.1875 Friday morning.

With overhead resistance showing around 12.50 from a month ago, my goal was to scalp about 10% from this trade. Yesterday (Tuesday) EGGS had a strong run, closing at 11-7/16. I had my 10% and was ready to exit on the first sign of slowing down.

I put in a stop about an hour before the open this morning at 11-3/16, just to protect against a weak opening. In just the first minute of trading price was up 1/4 on 27,000 shares, so my stop was safe. I watched price hit 12 and put in my sell order.

Due to some slowness at the Ameritrade web site, I had to call (and waste time) to get a confirmed sell... at 11.75. All in all, a clean 15% gain for about 3 days. The very kind of trade I want OT to help me find lots of.
