I sent Nirvana some e-mail when this first happened. I got a very fast response telling me that I somehow had a corrupt file. They gave me detailed instructions on how to replace that with a good file from my CD. Did all that. No difference.

Until Julius told me what to do, I had no clue. I sent them another e-mail yesterday, but I guess I've used up my quota as I haven't heard a word from them about it.

I'm due to get vers 3.5 next week (if they ship when they said they would). I'm giving some serious thought to dumping everything I have and starting over with it. I'd like to run my "uninstaller" program and get rid of a lot of remnant junk, but the idea absolutely terrifies me. I can just see my machine refusing to boot up again.

Are you getting 3.5? That may fix this.
