Hi John. I didn't know you posted here. I have read your posts on the newsgroups for along time. Small world.lol

I will post my bug on the newsgroup but in simplistic terms the bug was on the importing of external media into flash3 ( Im on a mac ). It showed just directories no files, not even "show all". The work around I ended up using was copy and paste from photoshop. Some art I saved in flash2 and opened them in flash3 as a library. Anyway.......

My point with plug-ins is that the more complicated the process is, the less likley it is that the mass audience will take advantage of it. The more "recent" upgrades and varieties there are the more confusion exsists. There are those that are savy enough to do what is neccessary to add the necessary files but there still a huge market that aren't.

On another note I recieved this e-mail from a fellow developer

The flash generator server software looks awesome, you should definitely check it out. Basically, it allows your web server to generate flash movies on the fly from data. The examples they give are news and weather, so all text appears anti-aliased and entire weather maps can be constructed on the fly. What a great tool!

When are they going to let us anti-alias editable text in director?
