It is a little scary that Linda avoided alcohol, cigarettes, and even coffee, and also meditated daily to avoid stress, and still got breast cancer. I think this is why it is so incredibly frightening--you can have no family history, and no known risk factors, and still get it. One thing I don't think she understood, however, is that cheese, butter and milk are all full of animal fats. She used a pound of cheese in some of the recipes in her cookbooks!!!
