Hey guys, great report by NE w/ the exception of their damn turnkey ops. :( The comments about softer dayrates in the gulf..... ARE NOTHING NEW. NE was telling people that 3 months ago. ESV told us that just last week. This little pullback will be short lived. Note the lackluster vol on NE when it traded dwn. Don't be sucked in. Plus, NE only has about 5 rigs in the GOM ANYWAY.. Take adavantage of others stupidity!!. As for the broader mkt, LOOKING VERY SCARY. decliners eaked out against advancers, heavy vol yet we went nowhere, a few large stocks running hot and fast, internet stocks jumping 50 to 90% in a day. Be afraid. IMO commodity stocks will be the only things to not signif correct in the coming selloff. Mon is likely to be D-day. -Lucretius
