You are very lucky to be able to write a novel, David. There are a lot of really good writers at SI, but you are the first who has admitted to trying that, as far as I can recall.

We will keep the feline part secret, but I do hope you will tell us all when it has been accepted for publication. That is such a happy event, and we will all be wishing you well.

Hawaii has been devastated by problems in the Japanese economy, from what I have read. Are things really bad there? I know housing prices have gone down quite a lot.
