Dear Bosco,
I did see your post about a possible merger with INTC. But I have heard this rumor well before I read your post. The source I heard it from could be considered ify. But none the less I did hear about the Telbit (TBIT) - CSCO deal in 1996 and AMTX - Texas Instruments in 1997 (although the price I was quoted was well below the merger price) from the same source. But to me the deal could be very good for both companies. BAY has the products to take on CSCO and INTC has the name and the marketing team to take on CSCO.
