That is exactly what I am doing. This restructuring could mean something else also. If they do a dividend P can trade beyond the Oct '98 conversion date and extend the trading of the P. Now some would convert in Oct '98 and the new at a later date. I see a dividend more than a forward split in order to keep the P market trading past Oct to attach the big money people.

So after thinking about it I doubt very seriously a forward split would happen. But a dividend seems more in line in the shareholders and company. Splits typically only happen on common not preferred.

There is also a bad scenario with a forward which I is why I doubt it would happen. The common would be sold to buy a cheaper P. Now that is why I doubt a forward split would happen.

Me I like the dividend on the prefer myself because I get more stock at no cost for the long hold and the price will not dive.
