I think Geotek is the largest holder of 900 mhz SMR licenses. They use an Israeli technology have had some problems and have only built about 13 markets. They aren't much of a threat to Nextel but they own a lot of spectrum that they haven't built beyond those 13 cities. I wonder if they might sell that unused 900 spectrum to raise funds for the 13 markets they have built? The buyer, if there were to be one, would become the most logical customer for this new Motorola offering.
