TLindt, Couldn't Agree More...
Now, as for that "kiss of death" thing which I too have noted
on the home page.
Everybody and their cousin is talking about bubbles, tulips,
and tops. (Sorry to note that EVEN I have stooped to such
ruminations.)
I'd really like to, without getting horribly side-tracked,
hear some thoughts about WHEN and WHAT. It may be safe, for
me and others, to just say we're in for some days of reckoning
and wrecks. And that the carbonated Web players are ripe for
such reckonings and wrecks. But, how 'bout some time frames
and some specific stocks. Not that I'm interested in the least
in shorting... just not my approach.
So, I'm saying we're going to be hearing some horrible groaning
sounds within A MONTH. As for the stocks, I'll save my guesses
for a little later. Anyway, consider this a little sentiment
poll. And, by all means, if you don't think the downdraft
will be indiscriminate or will even be at all, please I'd love
to hear your reasoning. I'm all ears. Personally, I wish
I didn't feel a chill coming on.
BTW, not to make too fine a point, I'm going ALL CASH, with
the exception of some very pokey biotechs and a certain LONG
position (maybe two LONG positions), by end of next week, I think.
And, if according to your own lights, this isn't an appropriate
venue for such a "poll," I apologize.
