What you say is exactly what must happen in order to pacify the cynics. Hopefully, we'll see this happening during 4th qtr. Apple owners cannot buy new machines every qtr. If it doesn't happen, Apple will run out of steam. There are what, 27 million Macs in use? About half a million are G3s. The replacement market is by no means saturated.
