Listened to the conference call replay. It sounded pretty positive.

A lot of the analysts said "congrats on a solid quarter" and stuff like that. Everyone seemed to think the results were quite good. I'm kind of surprised that Yahoo says none of the analysts had the company ranked "1". Usually analysts praise the results of companies that they are already supporting, wonder if there may be some upgrades tomorrow?

They said that every domestic region (East, Midwest and West) made their FY98 quota, every Europeans country made their FY98 quota, and every Asian country except Taiwan made their FY98 quota. Sure am glad I'm not RATL's Taiwan sales rep...

More importantly, management said that bookings were stronger than expected, and they are "very comfortable" with the published revenue and earnings estimates for FQ1 and FY99. That's usually code word for the estimates are too low. They have set quotas for FY99, and the quota level is significantly above the currently published revenue estimates for FY99.

Different subject - I'm not that familiar with this company. Can someone provide a two sentence explanation for why the stock fell off a cliff last fall (according to the chart)?
