It sounds as if you are banking on Intel choosing SVGI for 0.18. Is this a known deal? I was under the assumption that Intel is still evaluating tools for their 0.18 process (i.e. looking at ASM, Nikon, and Cannon too). Just because they've gone with SVGI all along does not necessarily mean they'll stick with them forever. If you were Intel, wouldn't you be courting other litho companies at this point, if not for any other reason than to bring the unit price down of your most-favored vendor (indeed, isn't part of Intel's current problems related to the fact that other companies are courting AMD/CYRX{NSM})? Whatever the case, it feels like too much of a gamble to me.

On the weird side, all the semis all seem to be showing near-term strength, although I'm still not seeing anything definite to inspire this (save Intel's conference call). Companies narrowly beating their downward revised earnings do not inspired the bull in me (but I appear to be in the minority).
