Byram; The ice is thin and the index needs to correct as it has outrun the market cap..but with the program trading it could go on to do that some more. Last week I was doing the buy the dips thing..that may have worked yesterday..but I'd be careful with it now. Tops are just hard to call..but all the market needs now is an excuse to correct. This was more a sell into the rally day by the pros than any real strength. Will they buy back tomorrow ? I don't know. Futures went up after hours , but they could get wipe lashed I've seen a lot of that lately. It was for a time you looked at the futures and got a fair idea, but not so any more. Jim
